Intervention économie devant EUROPAGORA 2025 à Strasbourg

Le Président de l'I.R.C.E. a eut plaisir d'intervenir sur l'économie devant les étudiants d'EUROPAGORA réunis à Strasbourg pendant deux jours pour un jeu de simulation en tant que parlementaires européens. L'occasion était aussi de regarder les réalités d'organisation en dehors des plénières pour nos prochains événements, de reprendre contact avec l'administration et d'enrichir le réseau des jeunes pouvant également alimenter le réseau I.R.C.E. à travers l'Europe.

EuropAgora 2025 now comes to an end – an unforgettable experience at the European Parliament! 🇪🇺

🚀 What incredible two days! EuropAgora 2025 took place on 25th and 26th February, and I couldn't be prouder of what we have accomplished. Bringing together 200 young participants from 35 different nationalities (including 12 outside the European Union), we had the privilege of debating key European issues such as weapons exports, investment, cultural diplomacy and migrant's rights directly inside the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

🗣️ Over two days, our participants took on the role of MEPs, negotiated amendments, and engaged in passionate discussions—living a truly immersive experience of European democracy. In a context where abstentionism runs rampant among us, they showed that the youth has something to say and that what they say is worth to be heard.

I would like to thank our dedicated team who made this event possible through months of hard work, coordination, and commitment. Your dedication ensured that everything ran smoothly, from logistics to debate moderation.

🙏 I also want to extend my deepest gratitude to Wolfram Britz, Mayor of Kehl for his coming and inspiring speech on how local actors collaborate at a lower scale in the EU; but also our expert speakers Francois CHARLES, Stanislas Renondin de Hauteclocque, PhD, Anne-Laure Riotte and Catherine Delcroix who shared their insights, inspired our participants, and reinforced the importance of youth engagement in shaping Europe's future. Moreover, a big thank you to Emma Rafowicz for her valuable support but who could do not it to Strasbourg. And finally, to the Parliament team: Léa Jeunehomme, Lindsay Halker, Larbi Boulaich.

We must however not forget all our participants. Thank you for your energy and your ideas. Your passion for European affairs is what makes projects like EuropAgora so meaningful. I hope this experience has inspired you to stay involved in European democracy—because the future of Europe is in your hands!
